Jacqueline Freakes, Sales and Events Executive at SLC Representation, recently assisted hosting with Tourism Noosa, a group of product managers and senior sales agents from luxury UK operators as well as a trade journalist on an exclusive VIP famil to Noosa. The famil was hosted in partnership with Tourism Noosa and Thai Airways. The initiative of the trip by Tourism Noosa is to increase visitation from the high-end UK market and to showcase the region’s perfect suitability for the luxury market. By experiencing a huge range of product and accommodation the representatives from Abercrombie & Kent, Audley Travel, Cox & Kings, Bridge & Wickers and Gold Medal gained invaluable knowledge on how to position, market and sell Noosa to their clients.

For a final night of utter indulgence, the group spent their last day on their very own private island in the Noosa river. The Australian home of Sir Richard Branson, Makepeace Island offered poolside relaxation, cocktails on demand and an alfresco dinner by the fire – the perfect ending to a perfect week in paradise.
